"Short stories have always been my favorite format rather than long, movie-like graphic novels or lengthy serialized stories like "Rebel." The beauty of a short story lies in its versatility—it can be about anything, allowing for shifts in subject and approach at will. It's all about embracing change, exploring new worlds, and keeping things enjoyable. This particular page holds a special place in my heart due to its subject matter and execution and because it features a live self-portrait of myself at the time of drawing the story.
It's a pretty wild “mix media” digression or rather to make it look like such. Not sure what corner of my brain this came from but here it is for you to enjoy. I’ve always enjoyed art for effect in the Warhol sense and like breaking if you make it a piece of art of its own. No mystery here, I enjoyed this short story as much as any other one I did and of course, the story is always part of the point. I hope you can relate to the art for what it is and that you enjoy it.
